Thinking Black

Offering a selection of academic programmes, Thinking Black aims to encourage young Black British students to critically engage with the works of Black creatives, writers and academics. â€‹

The Orwell Youth Prize

The Orwell Youth Prize is an annual writing competition for young people in school years 8-13. Every year, a theme inspired by the writings of George Orwell is set as a starting point to encourage entrants to think and write critically and creatively about the world around them.

Durham University
